A. Resveratrol has two chemical forms or isomers. The most biologically active is the trans-isomer.

There have not been any studies done on if capsules or softgels are a better delivery method for resveratrol; however, resveratrol is fat-soluble, so it is possible that a softgel format would be advantageous since softgels usually contain a fat matrix. Again, this has not been elucidated with clinical studies.
