FAQS

A: While UBQH™ (100mg) has not been clinically studied for neurological support, there is a growing body of evidence showing that the QH:CoQ10 (ubiquinol:ubiquinone) ratio in the body is altered by different health states. In fact, research suggests that ubiquinol supplementation may be particularly helpful when motor neuron support is needed.† UBQH™ (100mg) and SMART Q10™ CoQ10 can be taken together; however, based on the research to date, we would recommend using the clinically proven SMART Q10 CoQ10 regimen for neurological support.†

A:

The ubiquinol is derived from yeast fermentation. The material undergoes extensive purification processing, including extraction and filtration steps that remove all yeast proteins generally associated with yeast allergies.

A: Most healthy adults in their 20s and 30s can easily metabolize CoQ10 and convert it into ubiquinol; thus, supplementing with CoQ10 will likely be the most efficient way to raise ubiquinol levels.† For individuals who are 40+ or looking for additional support, UBQH™ (100mg) is more beneficial since the body's ability to produce CoQ10 and convert it into ubiquinol is diminished.† Because UBQH™ (100mg) is pre-converted, it is ready for immediate use by the body, making it ideal for those unable to efficiently metabolize CoQ10 in the body.†

A: Ubiquinol is the active form of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10, also called ubiquinone). Stable ubiquinol has been scientifically shown to increase energy and stamina, enhance healthy blood glucose metabolism, and support healthy aging.†It is difficult to make a direct comparison between ubiquinone (regular CoQ10) and ubiquinol (the form of CoQ10 in UBQH™ (100mg)) because some people process regular CoQ10 better than others. However, research has shown that ubiquinol can increase plasma levels of total CoQ10 (ubiquinone) up to 62% higher versus traditional CoQ10 supplementation.†
